The wealthiest people in the world include:

Elon Musk – CEO of Tesla and SpaceX (Net worth: $384 billion)
Jeff Bezos – Founder of Amazon (Net worth: $248 billion)
Mark Zuckerberg – CEO of Meta (Net worth: $255 billion)
Bernard Arnault – Chairman and CEO of LVMH (Net worth: $190 billion)
Larry Ellison – Co-founder and Chairman of Oracle (Net worth: $195 billion)

But what might surprise you is that these individuals didn’t become billionaires because of the salaries they earned as CEOs or founders.

For example, Jeff Bezos earned a salary of $80,000 as the CEO of Amazon.

So how did he become a billionaire?

Because he owns Amazon stock (shares).

I submit to you that the stock market is one of the greatest tools for wealth creation.

We’ve established that the wealthiest people are business owners, and the stock market enables you to become a business owner – without having to build a company from scratch.

You can buy ownership in successful, well-established businesses like J.P. Morgan, American Express, Mastercard, LVMH, Christian Dior, and Costco, to name a few.

You can even buy the entire market through the S&P 500.

Most of us have been taught that earning a high salary is the key to becoming wealthy. But in reality, I believe the true key lies in owning assets. We’ll dive deeper into this in the next article.
